woolf Cottage

woolf Cottage

Named after Virginia Woolf, whose childhood summers were spent at a Cornish bolthole called Talland House (a coincidence we couldn't possibly ignore), Woolf Cottage is our newest little hideaway. A place to shut the door on the world for a while, lose yourself in a good book and enjoy a few days doing very much as you please.

Tucked away in the hotel grounds, with its own entrance and little garden, the holiday cottage has everything you need to make yourself at home. A cosy sitting room with a sofa big enough to stretch out on, a kitchen for morning coffees and midnight snacks, a double bedroom made for lazy mornings and a bathroom with a walk-in shower. True Cornish escapes aren’t complete without an adventure or two, so you’ll find a boot room for big coats, muddy walking boots and all else that comes with a day exploring the coast. Dogs are very welcome in Woolf Cottage too.

A little cottage of one’s own, with the hotel's restaurant, bar and all the good things Talland has to offer only a few steps away.

WHATS IN MY cottage?

NO. 1

A bedroom made for lie-ins

A cosy double bed and the sort of peaceful surroundings that make getting up before nine feel utterly unneccessary. You're on holiday, after all.

NO. 2

your own sitting room

A corner sofa big enough to sink into and stretch out. Curl up with a book or surrender an entire afternoon to doing very little.

NO. 3

a little kitchen

For that first coffee of the morning, a cup of tea before bed and the freedom to potter about at your own pace.

NO. 4

a shower to look forward to

A private bathroom with a very good shower; something that’s particularly welcome after a windswept walk along the South West Coast Path.

NO. 5

a room for mucky boots

Adventures on the Cornish coast rarely end with clean shoes. Somewhere to abandon muddy boots, hang dripping coats and leave the great outdoors at the door.

NO. 6

room for four-legged friends

Woolf Cottage is perfect if you’re travelling to Cornwall with a pup in tow, with plenty of space for post-walkies snoozes.

Not Sure? What about these?
