Every seaside town resembles a Dickens novel and the Christmas lights are bright. And here at Talland, we have some of our own special festive traditions that never fail to get you in the spirit of the season.

Festive Feasts are for the Christmas work parties, the annual family gatherings, the boozy knees-up with friends that only makes it to the diary once each year, and all those other occasions that demand something a bit special to look forward to in the run up to the big day.
Gather a group of six or more, and tuck into two courses for £42 or three courses for £48. Glen has given the festive classics the unusual Talland twist; think chicken liver parfait with mulled cranberry chutney, slow-cooked turkey with all the trimmings (you’ll remember the pistachio stuffing long after the decs are down), rich short rib bourguignon and a Christmas pudding trifle could make even the most staunch Christmas pudding avoider change their ways.
We’ll take care of the crackers and make sure the table is looking ripe for a celebration; you get to take the credit for a Christmas party well-planned.

After all, Christmas parties are far more fun when nobody has to volunteer to drive, the wine can keep flowing and there's no taxi waiting to whisk you home. There can be few better ways to escape your to-do list than with Christmas Afternoon Tea in Cornwall.
Purva, our Head of Pastry, has created the most wonderful tiers of the year and there are some surprises amongst the festive classics. Unwrap turkey and cranberry sandwiches, warm scones with brandy clotted cream, and a whole tier of Christmas themed cakes . And because it’s the season of sharing, we’ve rounded things off with a chocolate Christmas tree for two.
