At Talland Bay we wear our hearts on our sleeves. We love being expressive and welcome you into our eccentric world. Why not, is our motto.
Hidden around our historic country home, overlooking the waves, you’ll find all sorts of oddities.
We’re proud to be ourselves and want you to be yourself too. It gives us pleasure to see our guests having a laugh at our idiosyncratic décor. What would life be without a bit of fun?
Staying with us is an intimate experience.
Romantic dinners and lazy breakfasts; slow drinks in the dappled shade of our luxuriant garden; refreshing coastal wanders. It’s about relaxing, indulging in the finer things, and relishing in the loveliness of Cornwall.
Our team are not stock characters either. We’re here for a friendly chat, to look after you, and curate a delightful atmosphere. The remedy to anything bland and corporate.
Where our garden ends, there’s nothing but sea to the horizon, framed by wooded hills. Our sublime vista is not one you’ll forget. An uninterrupted seascape to clear your mind and give vitality with each breath of crisp air.
We’re in, perhaps, the most untouched and peaceful region of Cornwall. A wild, yet pastoral stretch of coast on the far side of Plymouth. It feels like a world beyond a world. Where other places might be overwhelming, South East Cornwall is your chance to truly escape the grind. Come and commune with the most magnificent coast in Britain.
We passionately support the Cornwall Air Ambulance. It provides an invaluable service to our local community. To show our support we have hosted private charity lunches, which have raised £40K so far and we encourage our guests to donate. We’ll continue to host events in the future and help the Cornwall Air Ambulance in any way we can.
We are delighted to be a South West Coast Path Way Maker. We & many others help & share information about the South West Coast Path. Helping more people enjoy its amazing health giving benefits. We support caring for the SW coast path by being a member & donating each year. For every 1 mile of coast path equals up to & over £1000.00 in upkeep. You can help too, visit their website, sign up to their news letter & donate - www.southwestcoastpath.org.uk.
