Our environment

This section contains information on the habitats, flora and fauna which can be found along the South Coast of Cornwall from Polperro to West Looe. This also contains information on local walking routes and places of interest, which are of a natural or environmental importance to the region.

The coastline which stretches from Polperro to West Looe is made up of a diverse range of habitats which include coastal farmland, acidic grasslands, estuaries and cliff tops. Therefore, this stretch of coastline is abundant with wildlife throughout the year and as such is an area of interest for walkers, environmentalists and bird watchers.
