At Lanhydrock, Discover areas you may not have been before,or learn something new about Lanhydrock. Weekly walks take place every Thursday until 26 October. The building of the Commemoration Garland at Cotehele

Come along to see the garden team work alongside print-artist Dominique Coiffait as they put together this year's beautiful cut flower garland and artwork to commemorate the First World War Armistice. You could even lend a hand!, Daily 11am-4pm. Find out more here.
Commemoration Garland in the Great Hall at Cotehele
10th November 2018 - 6th January 2019
We're commemorating the centenary of the end of the First World War with a special artwork created by West Country artist Dominique Coiffait, inspired by the ebb and flow of life in Cotehele garden. This artwork will wind around the walls of the Great Hall and complement the 60ft cut flower garland created by the garden team and volunteers. Daily 11am-4pm. Find out more here.
Secret Cotehele tour and lunch

An in-depth tour of Cotehele house. You'll meet the team as they give the house its annual deep clean, learn about conservation practices and peek behind closed doors. Morning coffee and lunch included., Daily 11am-4pm. Find out more here.
Looe Literary Festival

The Cornish Winter Fair

Come and celebrate all that's great about Cornish farming and food at The Cornish Winter Fair on Saturday 17 November 2018. It's a free event, held entirely under cover here within the Exhibition Halls at the Royal Cornwall Events Centre, Wadebridge. There's plenty of free parking on site. Padstow Christmas Festival
6th-9th December 2018
Showcasing Padstow at its best, the festival is one of the UK's largest, bringing together chefs, local food producers and crafts-folk to celebrate Christmas in a captivating waterside setting. An array of seasonal treats including lights and decorations, Santa's grotto, fireworks, food, festive demonstrations and late night shopping plus a traditional Christmas market in a large marquee on the quayside with stalls laden with Cornish goodies and gifts. Lostwithiel Dickensian Evening
13th December 2018
On a cold, dark Thursday evening in mid December, Lostwithiel lights up with its Dickensian Evening. The ever popular festive event has been running for many years. The streets are filled with crowds who come to enjoy the old fashioned traditional Christmas experience. The evening starts off at 6pm with the church bells, followed shortly by a lantern parade led by the Reindeer Alpacas, The Stiltwalkers, Lostwithiel Town Band, which processes up and down Fore Street. Lanterns are made by groups in Lostwithiel including the Young Farmers, Brownies, Scouts and Guides. Shops in the centre of town are open late and shopkeepers dress up in Victorian garb. In fact lots of people get in the spirit and you'll see stallholders, performers and townspeople kitted out in old fashioned costumes. Find out more here.
Heligan by Night

This December, step into ‘Heligan by Night’ and experience the art of illumination as internationally renowned light artist Ulf Pedersen reveals the night time magic of Heligan’s historic plantings.
