The Christmas flower garland at Cotehele

Every year Cotehele gardeners build a 60-foot garland from thousands of flowers grown on the estate. A tradition since 1956, the garland adorns the Great Hall throughout Christmas. The number of flowers varies each year depending on the growing season. This year the gardeners expect there will be 32,000 flowers, but they won’t have a final count until they start to build it. Find out more about the garland. Watch the gardeners build the garland: 1 - 10 November, 11am-4pm. See the garland on display: 11 November - 6 January (except 25 & 26 December), 11am-4pm.
