The Corn Bunting is a rare coastal farmland species, which can be found nesting in the fields on top of the cliffs along the Cornish coastline. The bird is very small and brown in colour with black specs. The most likely places to see this bird are when it is perched on a fence or hiding in a hedge. In the summer months the bird is found flying above the fields but in the winter it is more likely to be found in the weedy fields or in barns and cattle yards.
